MENA Launch Event in Collaboration with ASA

On 24 May, MENA in Collaboration with the Afro Student Association organized an inclusive Iftar event to announce its official launching in the 2019/20 academic year
At the event, students from different programmes and faculties came together to enjoy home-made food inspired by different countries of the MENA region.
At this occasion, we announced our vision of founding a new student association, open to anyone connected to or interested in the diversity of the region.
As of 20 September 2019, MENA is an officially registered student association of Leiden University. Supported by the university's diversity officer, we strive to create awareness for diversity and promote tolerance and inclusiveness.
